================== People behind ocdb ================== Who are the people behind the ocdb package? * `Victor Soltwisch `_ Mastermind behind the `Optical Constants Database (OCDB) `_ and main provider and manager of the data (together with his group at the German National Metrology Institute, the `Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt, PTB `_). * `Till Biskup `_ Main developer and maintainer of the package, scientist with a strong background in `reproducible research `_ and a passion for software living up to the standards of science. Currently working at the PTB, his scientific background is in spectroscopy, and he actively develops a series of Python packages for the processing and analysis of spectroscopic data, most prominently the `ASpecD framework `_ and a series of packages derived from this package and dedicated to work with `cw-EPR `_, `tr-EPR `_, and `UV-vis `_ data.
